North Platte woman, 40, murdered in her home

NORTH PLATTE, Neb., Dec. 3 - A "horrific" murder in North Platte last night has police looking for suspects.

It was a crime scene that shocked even veteran Law Enforcement officers. A 40 year old woman, slain in her home, and so far, no arrests. It was one of the most vicioius and heinous crimes ever perpetrated in the city of North Platte. That's how this case has affected even the most experienced law enforcement officers. Vicki Soto, 40 years old, and eight and a half months pregnant, sexually assaulted, neck slashed, and body dismembered, in her own home, sometime between six P.M. and 8:55 P.M., Sunday night.

A small community in fear.
Not much can be said about all of this... Really only thoughts of how frightening it is to have murder so close to my small town in Nebraska. A pefect example that there can be people with screwed up heads everywhere. In grave detail I first read an article about this incident in a gas station, I was thrown back with how descriptive it was... describing both the incision in the womans neck, but the fact that her legs were sawed off with a chainsaw and later found in a small lake somewhere in North Platte.
